A quick poem about sitting by the waters edge watching life go by on a nice summer day, Just wish there was more of them.

Sitting at the Waters Edge

Sitting at the waters edge,
Watching sparrows,
In the hedge.
Looking at the ducks afloat,
Always swimming,
Pass the boats.

And the sun was very high,
Right above me,
In the sky.
Giving life to all below,
Making warmth,
For life to flow.

Then I spied a passing fish,
So I made,
A simple wish.
That the day would never end,
To enjoy,
This summer trend.

Nature is a magic thing,
Never knowing,
What it brings.
I enjoy the simple sound,
In the air,
From sky to ground.
