A poem about looking back on your life and wondering ..... what would you do differently? How about you?

Sometimes You Wonder

I am getting along in years,
And wondering about the past.
Should I be grateful for all I've had,
And hope that they will last.

We look ahead and look behind,
Our lives are so suspect.
But only God can see us for,
The things that will really last.

We've all done things we should not have,
And we remember them oh so well.
But, oh my gosh, can we recall,
The love we used to tell.

I think the past should be behind,
And not be in our life.
I hope that the future will bring,
Just peace and little strife.
