How to Conjugate Comer, this page gives the conjugations of Present, Preterit, Conditional ,and Future

Comer

The verb Comer means to eat in Spanish. The following are the conjugations and their proper tenses to use when speaking and writing in Spanish. Spanish is an easy language to master if you work hard and practice everyday.

Good Luck!

Present

Present Tense-is the most common of tenses and the one invariably learned first in Spanish classes.

yo-como
tú- comes
el/ella/usted- come
nosotros-comemos
ellos/ellas/ustedes.- comen

Preterit

The Preterit-has a conjugation that is essential to learn. It is the verb form used most often to tell of events that have already happened.

tu-comiste
el/ella/ud-comio
nosotros-comimos
ellos/ellas/uds-comieron

Imperfect

Imperfect- the imperfect indicative has a conjugation that is essential to learn. It is the verb form used most often to describe conditions as they existed in the past, to provide background to events and to describe habitual actions.

yo- comia
tu-comias
el/ella/usted- comia
nosotros- comíamos
ellos/ellas/ustedes- comian

Conditional

Conditional-also known in Spanish as el futuro hipotético, the future hypothetical, is different than the others in that it isn't clearly connected with a particular time period. As its names imply, this tense is used to refer to events that are conditional or hypothetical in nature. This tense should not be confused with the subjunctive mood, a verb form that also can refer to actions that aren't necessarily "real."

yo- comeria
tu-comerias
el/ella/usted- comeria
nosotros- comeríamos
ellos/ellas/ustedes-comerian

Future

Future Tense-is most often used to refer to events that haven't happened yet, but it can also be used for emphatic commands and also to indicate uncertainty about current happenings.

yo- comiere
tu-comeras
el/ella/usted- comera
nosotros-comeremos
ellos/ellas/ustedes-comeran
