Two poems of Spring's gift - the wondrous joy of daffodils!

Spring Delight

Hidden behind the blue of sky
There is a distant space
Where childhood and imagination
Is a timeless place.
In the mystery of morning,as we wake,
Sunlight’s magic cast upon the fields-
Rows of golden daffodils.

Spring’s Quilt

In sunlight folds of sky
There is a wondrous blue
that wraps a golden hue
In startling shades of bright.

The buds upon the trees
Now open in the breeze,
An earthy fragrance
Blowing on the wind.

Grass slopes down the hill
To green fields filled
With yellow daffodils…

Nothing for ages here yet, we still have more than a foot of snow in some places. Nice spring poetry though.

Lovely poem. My Amaryllis just bloomed. How did you get the artwork on the page. I have to use my own photos and would like a larger selection to chose from. joan marie
