Sunrise to Sunset

From the start of each day until we turn in for the night, there is much to see and experience and whether the experiences were good or bad the best part is knowing that each new day brings the chance for new and different experiences than what we had experienced the day before.

How to Look at Clouds

To see angelic pillows
Highlight the bluest sky,
Lifting spirits as high,
Will enlighten till nigh;
And later soften
Stark sunlight
Before it sets; an ending
To an endless day,
Now lulling your eyes to sleep;
To gaze at clouds
In a now patchy sky
A fuzzy reflection of day's events,
Starry eyed, made ready to close
As darkness carries it all away
Only to return a new way
To look at clouds,
Save for another day.

Reality Check

When colors have turned dismal
And night overtakes the day sky
When the lark no longer sings
and would-be chances fail to ring
Faith Will cushion the hardest fall;
When sunlight which had lingered
At last flickers and fades into obscurity,
Find again a prayerful voice to soften
The sharpest edges and pierce gray
gloomy clouds with streaming sunrays
Bringing to light a treasure of strength
And begin the climb from dark into day.

Cascading Sounds of Nature

Endless flow
of earth's cool water;
Bubbling over rocky summit
Smoothing, soothing
Before cascading through;
Invigorating music
Continuously heard
Before releasing pure energy
Into calmer waters ~~~ \

Wistful Sky

Daydreams of tomorrow
highlight the late day sky
when nighttime draws near
(a soothing calm end)
leaving us to ponder,
in wistful wonder...
what tomorrow
will bring;
a peaceful
reflection
airbrushed in
artwork above
and framed in hope
to discern beyond
any hazy apprehension
that may linger from today.
