Sweet July

As we find ways to go through life inconveniences.

Chewing on a candy literally

Do I have to quit now or should I accept things the way they are? I seemed to have lost my options and I found this stage of my life (not telling further) as a challenge. So, finally... I did decide on something.

Sweet July

Today I mark this day,
should I go or should I stay?
Everything has gone wrong,
not his fault or my doing.

Boldness has gone astray,
should I go or should I stay?
To see dearest things fall,
thus, embrace a vacant hall.

Struggling to find my way,
should I go or should I stay?
My dilemma, my pain -
can there be something to gain?

Such scorn of my July,
no way to go but to stay.
I chew on a candy,
as I pray for things my way.

Well done Phoenix, life leaves us with many decisions to make and your poem artistically reflects this beautifully!

What a great poem... Sometimes we just have to stand still, and see what life hands us...It could then reveal the path that we should walk...and ease our indecision...Nice work..

Phoenix Montoya, As I have been busy these last few weeks building up my Hubber Account or my Hubpages.com account I have used some of Youtubes.com Music Videos. And because I have and Adsense Account I can get a three way split from those who's video's I share when they are click through and only when they are clicked through which is no great concern to as of yet or any real help to my earnings yet, as I want to get my own videos up and working here as soon as I can get a new Windows 7 Operating system up and running. But I do believe there is a old rock song that would work well here at the end of your poem. I can't think of the name, but if you type your hook phrase into the search bar it will bring it up I am pretty sure. And then place it in a new section under your poem it will leave a lasting impression on the viewers mind when exiting your write. I have done this several times and it helps a little with your traffic. If it is a good fit with the write and I love Youtube videos and sound bites I try to use them whenever I can in my blogs now. But Beware Never over do this it will turn so away and they might talk about it too! Thanks for the share Donnie/ Sinbad the Sailor Man
