This poem delves into the minds of two people going through lustful temptation

The Bite

Adam in the jungle
Eve sits beside an apple
Thus begins the struggle
Transpiring between two people
Temptation, infatuation
Hearts race like the beat of a drum
Stimulating a situation
Jungle noises arise from
She dangles the lucious fruit
He looks away, imagines its savor
Desire exposes the truth
The serpent spoke of its flavor
She lures him in
Lips embrace it
She sinks her teeth in
He hears the sound of it
Juices trickle down
It's paleness within revealed
She shuts her eyes without a frown
Nothing else to conceal
Possessed by knowledge of good and evil
She offers him the rest of it
Temptress like the devil
Finally he takes a bite of it
