The Coffee Shop

Just an account of what I love in about coffee shops in winter.

Winter at the coffee shop.

The warm, aromatic scent of coffee fills the air in the small cosy shop as the hail batters the glass windows. The heat from the cup oozes through to my finger tips keeping the cold out. The steam hits my face and a sense of relief washes over me- comfort.

There is no better feeling than sitting in a warm coffee shop on a cold winter afternoon. It is one of my favourite things to do. The low buzz of conversation from others becomes a distraction from the outside world.

Newspapers and books are consumed in the illusion of a home environment. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax on a day off. It is where you will find me writing when I have a free moment.
