One possible solution to ponder concerning the "broken legal system" in America.

Original Law

Our God is a God of order. All law originated with God. Every law that man has established comes from the basic laws decreed by God and modified to benefit the person(s) that were instrumental in writing the law. All nations are based on laws. A society without laws would be a place where chaos reigned.

Laws are boundaries that have been set up to protect all of the citizens of a community and apply to everyone concerned equally. No one is above the law.

When God made man He gave him dominion and freedom over the earth and all that the earth contained and included one law for man to obey to balance things.
We know what happened from that point up until now.

Man's Law

In America our country is considered to be a "democratic society." Our Constitution and Bill of Rights was designed to give the people (citizens) or their elected officials the supreme power to make or change laws that would be in the best interest of all of the people. If everyone concerned adhered to God's basic laws while considering which of the community's laws to write or modify, then that would be a good thing. Unfortunately that is not the case. I am sure that we are all aware of the many issues we face concerning our "broken legal system"; therefore I will focus on one possible solution that could possibly correct this situation.

Suppose we created a special entity of legal professionals utilizing the skills and experiences of those who have at least 25 years of active experience in the legal arena. The diversity of their occupation titles (Judges, Law Enforcement, Lawyers, Legal Administrators) would come under one umbrella and being seasoned in their areas of expertise, they would be in a better position to make logical and balanced decisions concerning their task. This selected group would be charged with concentrating on one single task.

The Legal Task

Since everything must have a starting point, I recommend that we start with the beginning of the 20th century (1900.)

Utilizing today's technology to assist the group in it's research I would suggest that we revisit all laws enacted by the Supreme Court of the United States of America since the starting point and measure the validity of those laws against what is written in scripture. Since our country is based on Judeo-Christian morals (which is written in stone), then this would be a prime tool to measure these laws against to insure that we are on the right path. I would also suggest that any law or ruling that cannot pass this simple test be abandoned and not be deemed lawful. The laws that indeed pass the test should then be re-submitted to the Supreme Court to insure that they are applicable in today's society. This should also be a continuing process for the legal arena to conduct on a continuing basis to insure that the system is operating optimally.

While this may seem to be a monumental undertaking I feel that this can be one solution that can be accomplished using the advanced tools that are available today.

Nothing beats a "fail" except a "try."

That sounds so wonderful but I don't think those lawyers will agree. They really don't care about justice so much as winning their cases. Its a shame but I have seen it so many times. If this world can be straightened out it will have to be God's Precious Son who does it. You will not be able to lie to Him or anything like this judicial system. It will be a perfect world then. :)

Hi Grumpybear,

I appreciate your usual support and comments. The lawyers do not have to agree with the concept that I put on the table. They do not have any true judicial power, they merely interpret the existing laws and argue cases for those who have been accused of fracturing the law in some way and do not have sufficient knowledge in this area to defend their actions. This society has been brainwashed into thinking that lawyers have more influence within the legal system than they actually do. They cannot change laws; they can only argue what is on the books.

Remember, it is "We the people …" who wield the true power and influence the laws of this land. When the "silent majority" decides that enough is enough, then someone with vision, courage and conviction will rise from their ranks and take the steps necessary to initiate change within our archaic, out-dated legal system.

God bless America, our troops and our leaders.

Thank you Stella for the kind comment.

Where do you think I got the idea? I confess that I am not smart enough to come up with something like that on my own. (smile)

God bless.

I will argue that the foundations of America were not created under religious morals and dogma, through through freedom from religion; the Founding Fathers were classical liberals, in complete objection to the religious empiricism of Britain.

A very interesting viewpoint, though!

Hi Ralph,

Thanks for taking the time to read and respond to my post. I will in turn allow you the same consideration.

Without belaboring my initial point, might I suggest you take a look at the link listed here and investigate further if you wish.
