I discover that there are two things here that people can never get enough of - time and money.

A Rather Dull Lot

They tell me that I’m one month old today, whatever that means. I’ve discovered that they have this thing here that they call time, well I really don’t think that it’s a thing at all because I’ve never been able to see it. Okay, okay, so I do sleep ninety -eight percent of the time – there they even have me saying it now – but I AM awake sometimes. It must be very important though, because everyone here keeps talking about it. They don’t have time for this and they don’t have time for that, and I guess they’re right, unless they keep it hidden.
Money is another thing that they never seem to have enough of, but I’m sure I don’t know why. Nobody seems to eat it and apart from looking at it and counting it, it appears to have no purpose at all, yet everybody wants it. I’m already starting to question the wisdom of coming here; they really seem like a pretty dull lot! There are some funny moments though, like when they start trying to guess who I look like, why the other day someone said that I looked like Uncle Charlie Spracklin…can you imagine? The best part of all this is they don’t think I understand a word of what they’re saying!

The Magic Of Crying

I can still see and hear my angels, and they often try to make me laugh , it’s really hilarious though, because people here think that I just have gas, can you imagine that?- I’d laugh aloud if I could. Once in a while I can see my friends too, the ones that haven’t already started the journey here. More and more are coming back too, but I won’t see them for a while. I’ve also learned something else here – you can get almost anything you want by crying! Bet you don’t believe me – but it’s true. Just watch and I’ll show you. My Pamper is starting to get really wet and uncomfortable – get that grin off your face – it happens to everyone even you will have to experience it someday. Anyway, as I was saying, I want a nice clean dry one, so watch this. Waa, waaa, waaaa waaaaa, . Watch mommy come running, waa, waaa, waaaa. Just listen and see for yourself. “Oh, what’s wrong with mommy’s precious little boy, is his pamper wet? oh my, it’s soaked it is, here we are, mommy got it off you now, and here’s a nice dry one“. See I told you I had it made. I’m not sure I’ll ever grow up - maybe I’ll just be a professional baby! My, I wonder who I think I’m talking to anyway!? All this chattering away to myself – or maybe it’s God – I hadn’t really thought of that. Well, I’m falling asleep again, I wonder if they put sleeping pills in my milk? Good night whoever you are.

"The best part of all this is they don’t think I understand a word of what they’re saying!"

Your story gives new meaning to what Jesus said about us becoming like little children.

The little children will teach us, your little boy is certainly teaching us a lot of wisdom here, Kingwell.

I like the tempo, and your engaging method of writing too.

One of a kind story telling driving home sublime messages too, thanks Kingwell. I have seen few counting their money all their lives almost till their last breath - siva

Yeah those days when we were pamper-ed and looked after ... sometimes in adulthood we long back for those days.. Nice piece of writing. See http://www.wikinut.com/summer-of-content-chapter-1/14hb_f7e/3cc9ui3x/
