Marzeus finishes the outbound part of his morning jog. Now he'll walk back five minutes and then start jogging back home again.

He whistles to the dogs so they know it's time to go back. Where are they?

The Creature in the Hole

There's a lot of barking going on some distance from Marzeus. Have the dogs found something? Perhaps it's a snake.

Knowing that Knabbit has already been bitten by a snake, Marzeus decides to go see what they're up to so the dogs don't end up getting hurt again.

Marzeus has to climb through a fence to get there. Knowing it will interrupt his exercise program to go after the dogs now, he starts walking towards them anyway.

From far away it seems like there is something on the ground that has them excited, and they're barking furiously.

Finally Marzeus reaches them. There is a hole in the ground. Marzeus can't see anything because the dogs keep blocking the hole.

With some effort, he finally gets the dogs out of the way slightly so he can have a look. Will he see a snake? Will he see a meerkat? Exactly what is in this hole?

Darn dogs keep jumping with their faces into the hole and biting at something. But eventually Marzeus manages to get half a look.

Two huge white teeth stick up into the air inside the hole. Oh shoot! Now they're in trouble. It's a warthog!
