The Crows

Huge Black crows that set up residence on my street.

Their Presence

Once there were two crows, great big blacks birds of remarkable size and colour, blue black in their darkness.
They had large loud voices greeting me with a ka ka ka.
They would sit upon the light pole at the bottom of my driveway. They perched upon the pole sometimes with their wings outstretched claiming ownership of the entire street.
Remarkable they moved in about three years ago and have decided to stay.
At first they were rather ominous, now we all just accept them as fellow dwellers.
I haven’t given them names but feel that they are part of home. I feel that they are watching over me and I am comforted by their presence.

We have crows and wood pigeons as regular visitors to our garden as we live in the country Georgia. Their wing span seems enormous! Enjoyed this my friend \0/x

I jhave raised pigeons and also have seen them nest under the bridges but I have a hard time to believe that pigeons nest in trees.

Since I have never seen crows nesting or heard of baby crows I wouldn't know where they nest. If the crows has been around your place for over three years maybe they also have nested and made baby crows?

They didn't nest on the hydro poles they just perched on them. It was strange but interesting.
