The gang's in big trouble. Sally's hiding under the dumpster and Robert, Milly and Molly are standing near the doorway to the underground chop shop. They are trying to come up with a plan when a guy enters the building.

Sally's staying out of sight

There's a car parked right in front of the abandoned building. Sally witnessed one guy go inside and from where she's positioned under the dumpster she can see another guy in the driver's seat. She can't blow her whistle because it will give her hiding spot away. All Sally can do is remain where she is and hope for the best. It looks like Robert, Molly and Milly are on their own. The dumpster smells disgusting and Sally is starting to feel sick. What would all the welsh corgis in the world do in a case like this? They probably wouldn't do anything because Sally was the only one that would get in a predicament like this. By the time she got home, if she did get home, she would need steam cleaned.

The gang's dilemma

Robert was trying to figure out a plan to get into the underground garage without being noticed. Molly was standing next to Robert and Milly was in the hallway. She was the first one to hear someone coming down the steps. She alerted Robert and Molly that they had company. There was a small room entrance near the hallway. Milly motioned for Robert and Molly to go in the room. The door was open but Robert managed to get it shut. Thank goodness they had flashlights because it was a dark space almost like a crawl space. There were boards piled up everywhere and Molly thought she heard a mouse running along the wall. They no sooner got the door shut, than the guy marched down the hallway and opened the door to the chop shop. Robert could hear voices but he couldn't hear what was being said. They were going to have to stay in this room until the person left. Milly looked like she was going to sneeze and Molly was beside herself. They were stuck in an underground room till it was safe to leave.

Hiding under the dumpster

Sally was under the dumpster when it started to rain. At first it had just been a light rain but then it became a torrential downpour. Sally was soaking wet and worried about her friends. She had no way to call for help so she just positioned herself under the driest part of the dumpster and waited. After what seemed like an eternity the guy came out of the building carrying something, but Sally couldn't tell what it was. He jumped in the car and the driver took off. Sally scooted out from under the dumpster and stood in the rain. She didn't know if she should go in the building or continue to wait outside.

Making a decision

When Robert heard the guy open the door and leave he knew he had to make a decision. Molly and Milly's lives depended on him and he couldn't afford to make a mistake. He turned to the girls and told them the best thing they could do was leave the building. They could come back another night with backup. Molly didn't even get to use her camera but she knew Robert was right. They had to leave before somebody got hurt. Robert got the door opened and they followed the hallway back to the broken window. They crawled through the window one by one and when they were all in the alley way, they saw Sally. She looked pathetic to say the least. Sally was soaking wet and trembling from sheer exhaustion. They all started walking down the alley to the street. It was still dark but soon it would be getting light. They had been in the building a long time.

Shamarie, thank you so much for the awesome comment. I like the fact that Robert's taking charge, but I think he feels he has to protect the girls. I love that.

Sally has a lot of explaining to do but all is well that ends well. Sally got the worst end of the bargain but she is made of sterner stuff. Looks like the adventure has just started.

Coming back with back up could mean coaxing the raccoon to climb down or Dad has to be persuaded to take charge. Safety comes first anyway so that they live to fight another day.

Nice going Nancy, thanks - siva

Siva, I sat down at the computer this morning and the first thought I had was I wonder what Siva will say about the gang today. As always I love your comment. When they were walking home in the rain I felt sorry for the whole gang. You are right and safety does come first. I like the idea of the raccoon being part of the back up but first they have to get him out of the tree. He seems a little timid to me but what do I know. haha

I guess we mustn't be too hard on Sally Nancy ...as she was stuck under the dumpster , which must have smelt terrible ...and I am sure she was wet and cold as well to add to her problems ..
I am sure you will find a solution to this dilemma ...you always do ..
Well done again
Bless you
Stella ><

Stella, thank you so much for your awesome comment. You always know just what to say. I think you are right about Sally. Being stuck under the dumpster must have been disgusting. There was the smell and the water not to even mention being scared for her friends. Molly may never be able to convince her to go out on surveillance again. Blessings to you today and always.
