Dad withheld information from the team and went to meet the curator by himself. Dad's now being held against his will and is in trouble. The team found a nice taxi driver that has agreed to drive Molly, Robert, Milly, Rusty and Miss Darcy to the curator's house in the snowstorm.

The team is on their way to help Dad

The taxi driver was driving very slow. It wasn't his fault though because the roads were slippery. If they hit a patch of ice they'd be in a ditch and their mission would be a failure. Molly was sitting in the backseat watching the road signs as they drove by each one. They still had a long way to go. Every now and then the taxi driver would look in his rear view mirror at Molly. She appeared to be the ring leader of this gang and it amazed the taxi cab driver. She was a beautiful border collie on her way to save her Dad. The driver wondered how this team ever got together. It was none of his business so he just continued to drive toward their destination.

The team's worried

Robert was sitting up front with the driver. He was going to let him know when they got to their exit. Robert was good with directions so he knew they only had about fifteen minutes till they got off the freeway. He sure hoped the snow plows had been on the side streets. It would make driving a lot easier on these icy roads. Milly was in the backseat holding on tight to her bag of coins. She had just enough to pay the cab driver. Miss Darcy was sitting near the window saying her prayers. There was a slight possibility that the team was in way over their heads. Robert was a force to be reckoned with but Milly on the other hand was a gentle soul. Miss Darcy was definitely worried about the team. She could fly circles around the curator till he got dizzy but that wasn't much of a plan.

The team was nearing their destination

When they got to the exit they needed Robert pointed to the sign and the cab driver made a right turn onto the ramp. It was slippery and they slid a couple times but made it to the light at the bottom of the ramp. Milly was really scared because she thought they were going to wipe out on the ramp. She would feel so much better when she got on solid ground again. It would be cold though and with her luck she'd probably fall right on the ice. She had no idea where she'd gone wrong in life. Why wasn't she home in front of the fireplace with Mom where she belonged? She never wanted to be on a team. It was all Molly's fault. That dog had caused her a lot of trouble in her short life. Now they were on a mission to save Dad. Milly did love Dad so this time she knew it was necessary to come to the rescue.

Arriving at the curator's house

The cab driver pulled into the driveway and parked behind Dad's car. The house looked dark and Molly had a bad feeling about this mission. There was no sign of life in the house. Everybody just sat in the cab and looked at the dark house. Robert turned to the cab driver and asked him if he could stay. Robert told the guy that if their mission was a success there would be a reward and he would get a share of it. The cab driver agreed to Robert's terms. There wasn't much going on around town so he would just wait for the team. He kind of liked this team. Robert seemed very smart but he could tell that Molly was definitely the brains of the team. Robert would always look at her before he would speak. The team got out of the cab and walked toward the back of the house. Miss Darcy flew ahead to make sure the path was safe. It was very cold and the snow was coming down again.

Slippery, icy roads are the worst. I believe that the team will not let a little bit of snow stop them even though the snow appears to be a force to reckon with. Another great addition.

Shamarie, thank you so much for continuing along with the team. It's so cold here with snow everywhere. The team really should be home where they are safe and warm but they are willing to brave the storm to save Dad. I find that to be amazing. Smiles to you today and always!

Operation rescue is indeed a team effort with the cab driver too getting into the thick of action.

I am sure the team will come out with flying colors as the curator will not even know what is in store for him.

Yes Nancy, dad should know by now he cannot go solo and take things for granted that the team will bail him out time and time again! siva

Stella, how happy I was to see you today! Thank you so much for the awesome comment. I'm very good at giving weather reports because we are living through some really cold and snowy weather right now. Cleveland is hit hard in the winter months. I'm so happy that you are continuing to follow the team. They are in quite a mess right now. I think the next chapter will be great. I'm sending smiles and blessings to you!

I think your winter chill is coming our way now Nancy , as we had a flurry of snow and very strong , cold winds last night where I live .
Mind you , up in the North of the country they have had terrible floods and snow for a while now . I feel very sorry for them .
I have entered another poem , so it should be showing up soon ...Enjoy.
Have a very BLESSED day .
Hugs and smiles to you also .

This so nice Nancy, your character reminds me of my collie..my baby Molly, and I just love the images.
We got a heavy snowfall in Glasgow yesterday and although it is absolutley freezing cold it looks lovely, just like your pictures are here.

Spirited thank you so much for the wonderful comment. I do believe you are right and I will be writing about the team for a long time. I love the dynamics of each team member as they work together to solve crimes. I think they might be in trouble this time with an out of control curator but we shall see. Smiles to you today and forever.
