The Fashionable Virus

I am not a doctor nor anything close to being one but I have discovered a new virus. It's been present for all these years. People just see it on a different point of view. They see it to be trendy, fashionable but it's not. It's something severe to the point where there is NO CURE but discipline.

What you think is happening..

You have some mad graffiti skills. You grab the simplest writing material you have and you start to let your skills work, either it be due to boredom or due to unspoken feelings. Words, letter, figures, they start to unleash their form artistically. You begin to feel the ease and comfort in whatever it is that you are doing.
However, have you ever really wondered what you are DOING?
Have you ever thought of "Hey, this was a perfectly clean peace of art right before I started messing it up."
Do you not realize the destruction you're bringing into something that silently lies in one corner and happily watches people pass by?

What's really happening..

Let me paint the picture for you.
You're the vandal.
What you're doing is vandalism.
I am right, right?
But here's one thing for sure. What you're creating is not a piece of art.
On whatever angle you want to see it, it will never be a piece of art.
Why?
You're breaking the rules, crossing the line, going beyond the boundaries that's why.
This so called VANDALISM is no longer the "act of deliberately destroying public or private property", as defined by the WIKIPEDIA.
You think it's a trend? It's not a trend.
You think it's expressive? It's not expressive.
You think it's artistic? It's not artistic.
You think it's inventive? It's not inventive.
You think it's JUST the product of boredom? It's not JUST the product of boredom nor a product of anything for that matter.
It's already a disease. A sickness. A disorder.
It's a virus that's slowly swallowing the entire conscience of a person.

It's not THEM. It's YOU.

Have you ever been into a situation where all you do is complain?
You study. You pay the tuition and in return the university provides you with education.
The simple way of respecting university properties is one test to see if you really are educated.
Then you throw me "Maybe that's because the university is ineffective of its disciplinary action."
No. It's not that.
Then again "Maybe it's because those students are not educated enough."
Fact is, even top students who gain grades of 90+ disrespect university properties. If you say that the university is ineffective of its disciplinary actions then maybe let's just ask them to take away all the chairs, desks and tables.
Here's what's going to happen - you're going to complain. AGAIN.
You tell them the famous "We pay high tuition fees for these?"
Well, you don't pay tuition fees for them to provide you chairs, desks and tables to destroy.
They give you these, you destroy them. If they take it away, you complain. If they give it back, you're just going to do again.
They constantly do a cleaning and fixing mission for these violated facilities. At the same time, you just CONSTANTLY DESTROY THEM.
For once, won't it just be nice to enter a newly painted room with newly varnished desks and use these facilities for the real purpose of why they were really built in the first place?

Congratulations, it's positive! You're now diagnosed to the Fashionable Virus.
I'll pray for your fast recovery. Oh, I will and I hope you get through this alive.
