A collection of sad poems for those who have suffered the loss of a special love

The Final Door

Show me where you’re weeping
Your heart a festered wound
Tender memories left behind
Fueling the lonely empty days

A mournful tune echoes
A scarred heart dying
Faded pictures and thoughts unsaid
This place of perpetual isolation

Whispering into the darkness
The only sound to hear
Deafening silence
Inviting the pain to dance

Grief is the price one pays for love
Rising from the souls of those who weep
Strangling every breath taken
Unwanted tears forced to the surface

Be still poor soul
The night awaits
Deaths gruesome key
Has closed the final door

Poems Of Love, Poems Of Sadness, Poems On Emotions
