The Forgotten

There are those among us who daily deal with helping others in ways we do not think about. This poem is a dedication to those people.

The Forgotten

Blessed are the pure of heart,
It is they who move the Earth
Toward natural destiny
And all that we are worth.

In truth, they know who they are,
But they do not toil for fame,
They heal the weak and diseased
While never making a claim.

God granted us this power,
Some choose to overlook it,
Free will that is in the heart
Make the puzzle pieces fit.

You may know someone like this,
Yet you do not see their soul,
They realize purity rules,
They are always in control.

Seek not the sins of mortals
Who dissect the lost spirit,
For they will steal all your love
And they hate you just a bit.

On this planet called home,
The healers will all soon rise,
They will take away our despair,
That day will be a wondrous prize.

Your poetry is great, but you should know that while poetry does not get a ton of views you can certainly help your poems get more views by adding tags.

EDIT published poems at add tags to them too.
