The Lady That Never Was

A lady who seems perfect but she is so mysterious and lovely. Is she a reality or is she just a dream. A romantic poem

Penning down my thoughts

Though I feel hopelessly tired and have a splitting headache (after enduring 2hrs in hot and humid weather and then 3 power-cut hrs) , I couldn't help posting this:

Not only metro-rides,but road-trips(ignoring the grime and dust and heat),can act as tonic for accelerating crazy ppl's already-swift imaginations....

I wrote this while travelling in a bus and had an hour to kill with no I-pod. I tried to close my eyes and rested for a while. There was no chance of getting any sleep due to weather, so I decided to take my mind away and enter into a cozy Dream world. But instead, these words started taking shape in my Notebook.

I lay on the ground

Time turns as the hour-glass spins,
Spins up and down,
Clouds roar through an open door,
As I lay on the ground.

She's a Mystery to me

A mystery she seemed to me,
A mystery was her eyes,
Her eyes were dark yet an aura struck,
And my world was full of light.

So close, yet so far

There stood my lady,
so close, yet so far,
She blushed when she looked at me,
I knew it would never go dark.

Is it just a Dream?

Oh! How I wish I could touch her,
But my hands would never reach,
Where was she, my dear lady?
Tell me it wasn't a dream, AGAIN, i plead!!

Come closer to me

Oh, don't tease me with your presence,
Come closer to me now,
Let me kiss those cheeks so red,
And lie with me on the ground.

Just an empty sleep

Yet again, she smiled at me,
Touching my soul like a quiet breeze,
Suddenly the world went dark,
As i woke up from an empty sleep.

My lady, she was never around.

Time still turned as the hour-glass spun,
Spun up and down,
Clouds roared through an open door,
My lady, she was never around.

one fantastic pictorial poem
I could see her all around but sad you couldn't have her yet found ..
beauty lies in dreams
when we rain alone
she will come some day yet un-kown

My dear Vats, This is a nice poem.
However, in these lines,
Where was she, my dear lady?
Tell me it wasn't a dream, AGAIN, i plead!!
you are asking the lady a question. Where are you my dear lady? It would sound better in my opinion. Secondly do hour glasses spin?

Dear Mr.Rama Rao, i would bet you are anything but a poet. You are using your brains where you are supposed to use your heart. I also wonder what would you have to say to many famous song writers. i will quote one - "We Don't Need No Education , We don't need no thought control - Pink Floyd "

Oh, dear GV Rama Rao, poets are special, we have a "Poetic License". Hour glasses spin, we fly through the air, we see angels when nothing is there.
Your friend, Ivyevelyn.
