God gave mankind the ability to think things through thoroughly, make progress, and use skills learned. The message of creation is written in the book of Genesis

A Living Soul

At the beginning of time God created the heaven and the earth, that’s as brief as you can get, the rest you have to fill in the blank spaces. So here we have what is assuredly the second part of the sixth day's working week in which God was busy doing the making of man. This historical account pinpoints the relationship between man and his creator.

Which was both an honor and a favor to God, Mankind was especially different from all that had been made before. Flesh and spirit, heaven and earth must be put together in him, the man was not made until everything else was completely fitted and furnished for his reception, On the last day of creation, God said, "Let us make man in our, in our likeness" Genesis 1:26.

The making of man has nothing to do with universities, but has everything to do with his ability to think and act accordingly, therefore some form of education was instilled in the first person that God created, and when we explore the making of man, we discover that there was lots more about our predecessors which has not been written in the bible, there is a silent drama which struggles through our minds to find answers for questions that are provoking.

The making of man is not only a biological subject but, scientific and spiritual. The making of man is about family life, how God would reveal himself and become part of the family union, man was made in the image of God, essentially he has some of the unique qualities that God possess, integrity, honor, respect for the environment and a life well lived. Mankind was to be the primary possessor of the land, the gardener, taking over the stewardship. Faithfulness would guarantee a long and fruitful life, however as you know, man failed to pass the test that was set for him in the garden.

The failure of man was a lesson in life, to show us that things however well planned may not always go right, but we must look for options, try to improve on the areas that we have fallen down in, and restore anything that was wrongfully taken. So where does man come from? What kind of material was used in the making of man? Mankind was made from the dust of the ground, and God blew into him the breath of life.

Man has a threefold dimension, he is spirit soul and body, he is mortal not immortal like God, he has the ability to think and act rationally, we are members that come into existence from his genes, undoubtedly rendering us fallen creatures, so as we take a closer look at the first part of the sequence in the genesis connection, we come across a fascinating account that is unparalleled anywhere in his history, meaning, there was only one of its kind, and from a theological point, the knowledge of good and evil in the garden was to be a test for the man.

The making of man was simple, yet majestic, in its beauty there was profound depth, which introduces us to designs and certain facts about life, here in the first part of the creation the tone is set for much more details about the making of man.

The amazing thing about the creation of man was not that he was made from the dust of the ground, but that he became a living vibrant soul, with the power to move about with all the attributes of God condense in the bodily vessel. Listen to these words. Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being or, literally, a living soul. (Genesis 2:7 RSV)
What beautiful poetry, God did not just pile dirt together, in a mud statue, but cells would meet together and grow, the blood would be pump around the heart, there was no rigid interlock, but a free flow of life more abundantly. So what a splendid occasion, then God breathe the breath of life, which no one knows how that miracle is performed.
