This a poem about the moon and how it allows for solitude.

The Moon

People move through phases
much like the moon.
The moon being big and bright when
it is Full to when the moon is nothing,
but a sliver in the sky.
When the moon is full weird and wonderful
events seem to happen while when
the moon is in other phases there
is a quiet mood.

There are many kinds of moons.
There is the Harvest moon,
Blue moon,
A huge moon.
There are many moons that
are around our moon and who knows
there may be others wondering too.

The moon gives light to see at night.
The moon makes you wonder what if.
Through all our phases and its' phases
the moon will be there as common as anyone
even when it is a New Moon.

Good night, MOON!

A timely poem as we had a Blue Moon yesterday the 31st July. You could've included a blue moon as it is not seen often.
