The Mortal Leaf

Death is inevitable. It is most foolish to fear it.

The mortal leaf

Sprouted a baby leaf in a tree
Oh how soft, sweet, small and silky was he!

From that day he grew and grew
Though only by a few and a few.

Till he got that pretty young shape,
And filled with enough necessary sap.

In the spring, he'd dance and sing
How cheerfully on the branches did he swing!

Then came the summer, hot very much,
But of that,he got a mere touch.

Now after that,the rains came,
Even more green and fresh,he became.

Here the evening reached his life now,
But he didn't want to end it anyhow.

Where will works? Here came the autumn,
Nearly the leaf's life had reached the bottom.

The leaf was now frail, yellow and weak,
He resisted the winds but exhausted in a quick.

Oh! now the stalk had many a crack,
In a minute of time did he break and break!

Ah! the dead leaf fell on the ground,
How much more he would be life bound?

Beautiful! Spring will come and all will be alive again - all life is a cycle. Blessings.
