Talking about my favorite American Football Team (Oakland Raiders)

Team

After not writing a page for a while now, I'm back and want to talk about my favorite Football team, The Oakland Raiders! After our last Superbowl run back in 2002 and having a lot of bad seasons in a row, we are finally having a winning season. And even before the season started, I've been telling everybody that this is our season, and honestly I hope the Raiders win this upcoming Superbowl. Although the team is not an Elite team, we have our star such as Khalil Mack, Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, and a few others. I got to say, although the defense started horrible, it has been getting better and better each week. I'm sure we can have an awesome defense, they just to focus and keep improving.

The Oakland Raiders have had many options to relocate. Possible cities for a relocation are: Santa Clara, California, Los Angeles, California, San Antonio, Texas, Concord, California, a possible new stadium in Oakland, and the strongest candidate is Las Vegas, Nevada. A lot of fans have been angry over the possibility of the Raiders moving to Las Vegas, but to me is something amazing. For the Raiders to have their own stadium and a new city is great. Obviously it is also amazing for the to stay in the lovely state of California, but if they do stay in Cali, I hope they do get a new stadium for themselves.

Games

The Raiders have played a lot of close games this season, a lot of games that might give you a heart attack if you were to watch them. And after this past week where our star Quarteback (Derek Carr) dislocated his Pinky Finger, I'm happy to say it was just a little scare and he is questionable to play this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Hopefully the team wins that game aswell.

I'm really looking forward to a Oakland Raiders vs. New England Patriots game, and hope that the Raiders get some kind of revenge for the 2001 AFC divisional playoff game against the Patriots. That 2001 game is also known as the "Tuck Rule Game." The name "Tuck Rule Game" originates from the controversial game-changing play. In the play, Raiders' cornerback Charles Woodson sacked Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady, which in turn, initially appeared to cause a fumble that was eventually recovered by the Raiders and, if it was a fumble, would have almost certainly sealed the game. Officials reviewed the play, and eventually determined that even though Brady had seemingly halted his passing motion and was attempting to "tuck" the ball back into his body, it was an incomplete pass and not a fumble under the then-effective NFL rules. As a result, the original call was overturned, and the ball was given back to the Patriots, who subsequently moved the ball into field goal range and won the game.

Questions

I'm curious, Are you a fan of Football? If so, what's your favorite team? I'm curious to know what do you think of The Oakland Raiders?
