The Resurrection Mary

The most correct version of the story of Resurrection Mary shadows upon a young woman who was killed during hitchhiking down the Archer Avenue during the era of early 1930’s. Apparently, she had spent the evening of dance with a young man at the O Henry dance hall. At some point, they got into fighting argument and Mary left the ball room and took the road to go back to her home. Despite the fact that it absolutely was a chilly winter’s night, she thought, she would rather face a chilly walk on the road, which goes to her home rather than spending another minute along with her foolish lover. She left the dance hall and began walking up Archer Avenue. On her way back to her home, she was terribly hit by a passing truck. She died in the spot and buried inside the Resurrection Cemetery.
From that day on wards, people have seen a white color dressed lady asking for a lift and pointing towards the Resurrection Cemetery of Chicago. When people drop her, she suddenly vanishes, leaving behind no clues.

The Ghost Sightings

In 1973, the Resurrection Cemetery Ghostly lady was said to shown up at Harlow's club, on Cicero Avenue on Chicago's southwest place. That same year, a cab driver picked up a lady in white dress from the place, better known by the name, the Chet's Melody Lounge. She asked to be dropped near the Resurrection Cemetery. When the driver reached the destination, she quietly went out from the cab and didn't pay the fare.
There were said to be the sightings in 1976, 1978, 1980, and 1989 mostly by the cab drivers.

Given snippets from the old and famous newspapers indicate about the lady, who died in an accident on the same road. See by yourself if she was the same Mary or not?
