A poem on the fight for men's souls, battle rages and the darkness consumes but the son shall rise.

The Spirit War

The war continues to rage
a battle for the souls of man
The dark one who's name shall
not touch my tongue nor defile
my thoughts nor worth the
breathe of breathing.

He continues to deceive the
masses and bring about pain
and suffering to the universal

He rewards those who follow
with temporary power and riches
only to steal their souls with
luxuries only used for a time
so short.

Now that my thought's are free
and spirit clean, I am worthy to
fight beside my King.

I hear the battle cry and leave my
body temple, the physical form of

My suit of armor, armor of God I
do put on, my sword dangling at
my side.

The power's I have I cannot
explain, but strong I am, the
lightning comes from my
finger tips.

It's less then a minute from the
world of illusion to the sacred
site were the battle rages.

As I pass through the beauty I do
see but soon the battle I will arrive
and I shall enter in straight.

There are many spirit's in armor so bright
fighting for the safety of your soul.

The demons are big and smell oh so
bad, but it's the fight that I must win
for the people and my King.

For today we push back the armies of
darkness and then I return to my body

I wait daily to hear my call when
I shall return to fight by my King and defeat
those who oppress my people's
