Praise for those who keep stories alive, either by memory, or by the penning of them!

The Storytellers

THE STORYTELLERS

They do sing their songs,
By rote, all their rhymes,
Giving us visions,
Past through future times;

Prose so beautiful,
Worlds of dream expressed,
From mind to penned lines,
Dire to very bless’d;

Stories bring us dares,
Reach for such grand dreams,
Heard in the telling,
Bold ventures and schemes;

We listen to the bard,
Poet, and singer,
To hear the tales of woe,
And yarns with stinger;

The Storytellers (cont.)

Always do we dream,
For such derring-do,
For in sagas grand,
Lives are better through;

So, listen to yarns,
Dream of better things,
The bard and minstrel,
In stories do sing.
