This Poem is about self -realization, and self-acceptance, it speaks of the joy and confidence that comes with learning to love yourself not only as you are, but expressly for those faults, celebrating what makes you who you are, I enjoyed writing this, and I hope you enjoy reading it.

The Unveiling

I have come to love and celebrate every voluptuous curve of my softly rounded form.
to be proud of the signs that tell of the experiences of motherhood, The fine lines that speak of age and wisdom. The confidence I feel at the strength in bones, and the dignity of my carriage as I move along. Head held high I display womanhood at its peak.

Finding myself, no longer caring about what those others think, feeling me, being me, doing me.
Nothing to do with anyone but me.
For the first time loving me without permission or validation.

Comfortable in short shorts, that tell of my experiences in small gradiated lines, and slight indentations. They track my past sorrows and pain.

I offer no apologies, no excuses for the unveiling of me, for letting the "Real" me peek out from under cotton and polyester blend, fluffy dimpled witnesses of my journey.

I'm loving my full hips and thighs, letting the natural grace and sway of my waist flow in a dance of freedom.and expression of full and joyously bouncing breasts, and slide and glide of closely meeting and parting thighs, to the rythmic thump and flow of my own music.
Feet well versed in the way, taking an alternate route to life's pleasures guiltfree and purposeful.

I loved this, Kina, and so many women should feel the same way as you have so beautifully expressed. I am including a link to a poem that I published on here a while ago, but I really think that you might appreciate the sentiment behind it..
