the way of holiness is the path that leads to the enlightening presence of the lord, the way is a narrow road, and not many are found travelling on that road, because it is a lonely road,

Lonely road

And a highway shall be and a way, way, it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it. Isaiah 35:8 its a lonely road.
The gospel speaks so much about Christ, and gives such a dynamic account of his lowly birth, generously describing his exemplary life, his miracles and death burial and resurrection. The gospel state, that Jesus came into this world for a reason ad stayed only for a short season to fulfill his father’s divine purpose. Jesus has been called the long awaited messiah, but he is affectionately known as the redeemer and the savior of the world.
In the book of Isaiah we are given a glorious prophecy of the future evangelical state of the redeem earth, it is the description of the flourishing state of Christ's kingdom in the two first verses, in the conversion and enlightening of the heathen, here compared to a wilderness, and a desert, solitary place.
The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, even with joy and singing; the glory of Lebanon.

Holiness unto he Lord is our watchword, because without holiness no man shall see the Lord, so as long as we are in this mortal decline, we are anticipating a new body that will not be subject to death, when our natural life has ended, and the task completed we will move beyond this temporal restrained into the unfathomable bliss of the heavenly aura assigned to planet earth during the millennium.

In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Zechariah14:20
When we get into the revelation of the eternal light and understanding about the future millennium reign Christ, the prospect comforts our souls with joys beyond comprehension. the paradise that are conferred thereby, is immeasurable, and they are greatly described and set forth in the later chapters of Isaiah.: the earth will be restored and possess by the righteous
We have been aptly given a mandate to Strengthen ye the weak hands and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, be strong, fear not; behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; he will come and save you.
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert, and the parched ground Shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. This is such a glorious description of just a few of the things that will take place during the earthly reign of Christ. In the millennium briefly comprise of saints and angels, the roads to the cities will symbolize the path of salvation, and divide the coasts of thy land.
A highway shall be there, and it shall be called the way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for those the wayfaring men, though fools shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up there on, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there. And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Isaiah 35:8-10

Good article...just not sure how you can see an earthly reign of Christ unless you expect him to forfeit his 'forever' priesthood. Hebrews 8:4 tells us that if he were on this earth he would no longer be a priest.
