When our life here on earth is ended we must face the maker of heaven and earth and all the things that are therein. God is the potter and we are the clay

The departed

We brought nothing into this world, and when we leave we shall not be able to take anything out, for we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. This clarifies the position on the issue of death.

Naked, I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord. Job 1:21 we came into this world empty-handed, and we will depart in like fashion with only our sins or redemption to go with.God is the potter and we are the clay, we were taken from the dust of the ground, and at the close of our days we are heading right back there.

Even then when we are brought to the cold grip of death, and to the dark tunnel into the whirlpool known as the grave, there is hope of a resurrection, for Jesus said he is the resurrection and the life.
And when we are no longer able to contemplate our eternal destiny, if we have been faithful to the Lord, the issue of death will hold no fear, for precious in the sight of the lord is the death of the saints.

I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38

It is in Gods power to give us the victory and deliverance from the pain of death, the motivation to live for God is the assurance of the resurrection. For to live is Christ and to die is gain.

A testimony may be the only thing remain for others to know that individuals have fought a good fight, and kept the faith. And the one picture of death will present both ends, the present and the future, things present and things to come.

When human life with all its works comes to an end, only the judgment follows. Our love ones are now removed from the earthly burdens, removed from its surrounding altogether.

And only to them that look for him at his appearing precludes the conclusion of salvation. But we have an anchor that grips the solid rock.

When the silver cord is broken, and the cistern is broken at its wheel, mankind goes to his long home and the mourners go about the street. While we are alive we fear dying most, but whether we live or die, we belong to Christ. But the issue of death is a subject supported by grace.

It is appointed unto men to die once after this comes the judgment. Hebrew 9:27
I am certain, that the scripture here implies unwavering certainty.
But it is not the artful end.

For this mortal must put on immortality, and this corruption must put on incorruption
Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
The apostle Paul exhibits an epitaph which depicts the warrior spirit in us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:35

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in the final victory.

The ways of our departing out of this life are in God’s hands

The disposition and manner of our death; tells what kind of issue and transmigration
We shall leave out of this world with, whether we are prepared or whether death comes suddenly, through a violent process, or we are taken by the natural abated force, or through disordered sickness.

Our critical day is not the very day of our death, but the whole course of our life.
Our tender birth dies in infancy, and our infancy dies in youth, and youth and the rest dead in old age, our youth is worse than our infancy, and our age worse than our youth. The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law.

No one can ever buy back another person or pay God a ransom for his life. Psalms 49:7
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

For we see that even wise men die, but only God can ransom the soul from the power of hell. these are the issues of our death, for after this life with all that it has to offer has ended, then we must face the maker.
