The soul on furlough

This is for those who believe in after life. The soul sheds a body and waits for another in a place we call heaven. It is the resting time for the soul, to recuperate from the excesses of the life left behind.

the soul is on furlough

The soul is on furlough

nestled in the haven of heavens
resting in peace
now lighter and brighter
sans the gloomy world of greed

tired of the tests
trials and tribulations
the trysts that humans abhor

in the loving care of the master
recuperating from the past
now much faster

the journey has to go on

the journey has to go on
even after the marathon
the unfinished beckons
to be yet another plebian

another time, another zone
the question is just when
a new garb is thrown
coupled with a diary and a pen

seeds new to sow
new harvest to mow

the soul is on furlough

Time to pause and ponder for our soul and let us hope we did it right here in a world that was created with great love but occupied by a species that proved ungrateful for all the munificence showered.

We live on hope that we can do better later and that the majority here were played out by a scheming minority - siva

Thank you for stopping by and your wonderful insight. If we realize that there is another journey after this one, and that one depending on how you fare here, we would think and do differently.
