This Chilly Night

Sometimes what we need most is a serene place to find calm; turning the day's wrongs into right, and lead us to self-discovery through reflection.

The Chilly Night

As the sun gives leave to this chilly night
I bathe myself in dappled light
When appears a staircase within my sight
Coaxing
me up to a different height
Where calm reigns down over cares lost fight
And restores what went wrong back into right.

There is Happiness in Less

There is happiness in less
So clean up the mess
And leave behind all the rest
Especially the worrying pest
That lays so heavy upon your chest.

Find in life your passion and zest
The way You choose to be dressed
Even if it is not what was guessed
Take the time to become your best
And in happiness, you shall be blessed.

No tears, no fears.... only 'zeal' in the poem. I really enjoyed.
