Many go through life enjoying what it has to offer, but constantly seeking peace and happiness. It's hard to distinguish true happiness. This is a poem that shares the feeling of finding it.

This Summit I Have Found

Within this room my mind lay buried deep.
Amongst the weight, these thoughts bare no pity.
What if? How can I? What have I to reap?
I choose to ponder softly,
I choose to keep my peace.
Impossible, in the light of things,
I assume that's what this means.

Atop this summit that I have graced,
my mind seems readily eased.
Without much time, I cannot waste,
I have come to see this world
in a light I can agree;
That all I want is Happiness-
All I want is Peace.

This Happiness that I have come to seek,
cannot be simply bought.
Happiness is atop the peak;
it is Happiness that I have found,
and her Peace that I have caught.
