My musings about joining another content for clicks website.

Keeping Busy!

I seem to be applying for every clicks for content website that I hear about.

But why do I do it? I think it’s about self motivation.

I am a notoriously lazy person. With the advent of the internet, being lazy became even easier. Internet radio and streaming websites, youtube and search engines. It seems that the net is there to fill the mind with useless facts and distract you from the mindless boredom that your life has become.

But then I discovered some writing websites. They’re great.

I find the regularity of producing content a joy and good control of my time. I remember being told when I was young that the busier you are, the more you get done. The prospect of an empty schedule is horrifying. Vast hours of nothing are the enemy of the efficient and the productive.

So my plan is to try and write regularly and fill my days with written words. Oh, and make a little bit of money on websites like Wikinut.

My general hint for anyone that wishes to get involved in writing online content is to keep yourself busy. Be it with many other content websites, lots of jobs or hobbies and activities. When it comes to writing, there is no substitute for a tight deadline and a mountain of experience (created by your very busy schedule.)

I hope this starts off a productive phase in my life.
