To Depression and back.

For all those young teens who have been to a dark place and need help getting back.

With quiet expectation the mist clings
Searching for its resting place
A haze of memories drift as a lake upon worn pebbles
The coolness laps and strokes seeping into the bones
That fractured structure that scaffolds the identity
A shudder ripples and strains as a mournful sound echoes
To no response beneath the heavy veil

There where cries but dampen the soul
Where time no longer holds
A silent break in the emptiness of the cold
When scattered become the clouds of shame
In the light of some strange new face
A vision of crystal waters gently beckon

A clear and vast horizon
Is this but a fleeting moment's gaze
A vicious lie to dig deeper into the wound of truth?
The warmth does feel light upon the cheek
The light does shine upon the departing pain
Can redemption this be truly?

Can forever the void be washed away?
