Too young or too old

Retirement - Pros and cons of early retirement. Should I stay or should I go?

About the right time.

What age is the right age for retirement? Am I too young or too old at 51 years of age? I think a bit of both. An employer can benefit from my life and work experience but I can also benefit from it when I start enjoying life in my own way.

I don't want to wait till I'm not able to do all the things I always wanted to do any more and I'm sure there are loads of people out there who would love to fill the vacancy I'd be leaving behind if I retired now.

I am not happy in my job any more because of bad relations with the board of management that runs our company. I think stress is now becoming a serious issue and I don't want to live like this any longer. I can look for another job, but for now I just want out and if I can live without a job I think that would be my best option.

I think now is the time!

When one works for people it becomes an issue as the employers look ahead all the time but when we work for ourselves we tend to enjoy more and that way can retire later - siva
