Unlike The Top 10 Gay Male Character Archetypes

Unlike The Top 10 Gay Male Character Archetypes, there are not many Lesbian characters to write. Women, although complicated creatures are not complicated at all when it comes to sexuality. Their counterparts, the Gay males are extremely more complicated when it comes to sexuality. It has to do with culture, not just the American culture but also the world's different cultures.
Men have to be strong, independent, protecting, and moneymaking beings. They are trained as a children not to cry, not show emotions, etc. you know what I mean. Men are raised to be a certain way. This whole concept of expressing yourself creates complex turmoil in men. They are fighting against norm, culture, how they were raised, and who they are now. This makes homosexuality for men hell on earth.

Women

Women on the other hand are raised to express themselves, cry out their feelings, talk about emotions, and be just as strong as or even stronger than men. Hence, their straightforward concept on sexuality. Yes, they struggle for acceptance and for their changes. However, those women that have strong male characteristics, feelings and urges are the ones that suffer the most. Lesbians that are feminine tend to have little trouble sleeping with each other.
