In this page I will talk about why humans kill each other in my own perspective.

Humans

Humans are the most intelligent beings on earth, they are civilize, they also have reasoning, problem solving, language, culture and many more attributes that makes them superior to other species on Earth. Humans then formed different civilizations, religions, philosophies and governments to help them organize themselves, because of that they also formed conflict in their beliefs that form hatred to each other.

" You shall not kill"

It is one of the 10 Commandments of God for the Christian Community, but not only them it is also for all humanity that they should not kill each other, because we only live once and it is the greatest gift of God. I think nobody follows it anymore; we humans live whatever we want and do anything we wanted to do because of our wisdom, knowledge and instinct for survival.

1. Religions

In many year there are many religions formed by people because of their beliefs, but there are 2 religions that flourished and expanded since ancient times, this are Christianity and Islam. The Christians believe that Jesus is the son of God, who made us all, and their book of God's words is called the Bible and Muslims believe that Muhammad is a prophet and the messenger of God "Allah" the creator of universe, Qur'an is the name of their holy book. They have similarities but they just don't want to admit it and fight for what they believe in until war and death is unavoidable, to conquer other lands, empire and kingdoms is what they believe the word of God meant to spread their beliefs and religion. The Crusade in Medieval Era to conquer the holy land Jerusalem is famous example for killing because of religion, they believe that it is the highest faith in God and they would be forgiven if they kill non-Christians, they don't even follow one of the word of God in the 10 commandments “You shall not to kill".

2. Expansion of Lands

In Ancient times when there are no boarders that separate counties with each other, kingdoms and empires can freely expand their territories and conquer other lands, but who wants to be conquered? People will instinctively defend their lands and fight for their kingdom, armies fight and many people will die and still they are conquered, their death is still in vein. In recent time, there are 2 world wars that happened in history because of an assassination and power struggle of countries because of politics and the military resulting of many deaths and killing of fellow human beings.

3. Politics

Political assassination is common in politics that have a many rival politicians and they need to be dispatched so that the other party will take the power and position. There are 2 world wars that happened in our history because of an assassination of a political figure, power struggle and conflict between countries because of politics, diplomat, alliance of some countries, territorial dispute and their military power resulting in many deaths and destruction of the lives of human beings just to make their country proud. Soldiers fight for their country while politicians sit in their office and cowering in fear for their lives that they think it is more important than the lives of the protector of their countries.

4. Hatred and Dispute

"If you hate somebody and you want them to be gone, you should kill him or her". If you don't think straight and be logical in that situation, you will eventually kill who you hate and you would regret it for the rest of your life except if you don't have a conscience and have a psychotic mind. Humans can think logically, they can solve a problem, they just need think first before they act, if humans have a dispute for some reasons they can talk it out and solve their problem without killing each other.

5. Self-Defense

Killing because of self-defense in natural if the one that attacked you will also kill you, they just followed the famous quote “Kill or be killed". It is justifiable by law, but killing is still against the moral conduct.

Thank you for the comment Divineu, we hate others because of our own insecurities and envy of others.

We get angry and hate others if they don't follow what we say/instruct them to do or they talk back at us even if we are their superior/boss.

I think that the commandment thou shall not kill - implies a basic human desire for killing...

I feel there is inherent insecurity within us and lack of trust in others. Nine out of ten will not kill but when supercharged with emotions most will! We should put reason and logic above emotions and prejudice to survive - siva

Anger makes people stupid. Anger often equals violence, because not everyone is able to reason.
