Triumph of Delight

A lonely but happy life I did live
With few love to take and give,
A closure that may occur but pretend
As no thoughts prevailed to extend.
A slight impulse for a deep care
From someone who could be fair
A naked thinking that I could share
And yet still make me feel lair.

I know not how, happened to come true
Something of an essence that did blew
Besides solitude, like a pair of birds
Did we chirp, each time with new words
She endlessly rejoiced and I was to mime
It wasn’t me, but she spent all her time
A spirit that came from no where
And now made me feel, that she is there.

Love and care like a river they did flow
Why was I to miss her ages ago?
A shoulder and a support did serve
But wouldn’t be before, I sense to observe.
Suffocated I was, of what she did to me
That though was pleasant and glad to be
Which was something, half hidden from the eye
Later revealed, that reached further to the sky.

I desired to say those words, but receded
What she might think, kept me reflected
Had to pretend as nothing, inspite of her influence
Soon in my dreams, she made her presence
I couldn’t resist to ask her and hence I did
She thought I was blind folded;
I insisted her to realize my deep love part
Finally she said it, that I won her lovely heart.
