Waiting at Rest

Here are some outlets when not getting enough sleep or waiting simply waiting for Mr. Sleep's spell.

Balak 1 (Poem 1)

Tired head,
blue moments and longing.
Broken promises,
chains of rock getting stronger.
Kind heart,
melt in a simple smile.
Tapping pen,
bores the silent time.
Raindrops,
music into my ear
Lonely night,
seems endless and slow.

Eyes shut,
black universe.
Mind wanders,
like the night twined sleepless.
Heavy rain pouring,
drum beating in my chest.
The brightest in my room,
the darkness I felt alone.
A blink, a sigh, a week sight
dowsing windows creaking.
Clouds beneath my head,
deeply cradling contentment.
A gentle serene sings the wind,
chasing bellows of my sleep.

I am actually fond of reading. I'm still exploring my skills on writing and how to put my dreams into words.
