Non-denominational poem about finding the strength to rise above obstacles trying to pull one back to where they used to be as a person. It's all about becoming a stronger, different person to continue living life.

Walk On

Here comes the test
to see if you're different.
Here comes the challenge
to hold you down.
Don't forget
what you've become,
Don't forget the road you've traveled.

Dark clouds roll in,
aiming to dismantle the cause.
Doubt rips at strings of will
and strength,
aiming to undo growth.
You've come too far,
Don't dare look back!
Don't forget the road you've traveled.

Now comes the task!
Be armed!
Be resilient!
Show them just who you've grown to be!
The past was a lesson,
The present's ever-changing.
The future's yours,
whatever it may be.
Never set the sword down,
Hold your head up high,
Don't forget the road you've traveled.

Motivational poem, thanks Rochelle. We have to live in the present moment taking the cue from the past experiences and learning all the time - siva
