Here I go into the history of mankind or perhaps beastly-kind for those who are agents of the darkness for greed and power create wars causing killing and destruction..it has been going on forever and still does...unfortunately...

Repeats

History repeats itself
In oh so many ways
Throughout time
It still goes on
Wars and wars and wars

Far back in Atlantis time
Mad scientists there were
Bent on fissue experiments
Caused two destructions of that place
Sank it did
An avalanche
Now rest below the sea
Remains

Darius

Darius 1 great King of Persia
The Achaemenid Empire ruled
Long ago
550BC - 486BC

He conquered far and wide
His armies swept from east to west
Asia, Caucasus, Bulgaria
Egypt and Africa
Sudan, Pakistan, Eritrea
Northern Greece and Macedonia
Part of his kingdom did become

All this killing of others
Did affect his health
He died

Greece

Always heralded culturally
From whence great writers did eschew
Herodotus Aristotle Plato
Thucydides to name a few

Yet also wars did ensue
Civil strife in Athens
The Lelantine War (c.710–c.650 BC)
Fought twixt important city-states
Chalcis and Eretria
Both went into decline
Again the greed of few

Rome

Rome its greatness
Stretched far and wide
Conquering everywhere
Then soft its underbelly became
Rome itself outgrew
Principles of good and right
Turned away from the Light

Nero and Caligula
Shared in this come about
Senators too
Greed and power all their game
Darkness grew

British Empire and USA

They conquered much
Different name did call
Made out were rescuing others
From downfall

India and Egypt
Korea, Afghanistan
Iraq Iran
Other countries too
Empirical rights
Did not belong to them

But they bull nosed
Into them
Killing thousands
And what for
Oil to fuel their machines
Power over all
Now both destructing from inside out
Karma falls....

I do not think all that was gained is worth a single life destroyed....

and so it is..

I just wanted to add the following from a once dear friend....Mariah
"There be nothing..no subject
no words to heed..no message.. no thought..that you cannot express in the most profound and beautiful way.
As the dream master commands the night..you are truly a master of your craft.".

The power grabs and greed that marks history are likely to go on to the end of mankind. That longing for power and wealth marks the very nature of mankind and, like it or not, will be with us as long as human beings inhabit the earth.

I love your history pieces Carolina, you connect the dots so well.

War to me in its way looms forth from out of a certain dark fear of loss of love.

They fight to be more loved, never realising that this fighting only ever removes them further away from this love.

Love never loves by trying to force love from others, nor by trying to steal it away from others who already love.

Worth repeating and pondering, thanks Carolina. War is against the Creator Himself ultimately, highlighting how ungrateful we are. The punishment will be to transport us to desolate, uninhabitable, planets and black holes to keep us longing by looking at the magnificent earth for the rest of our time! siva
