Short giggle-worthy poem about the strains of a normal work week. Published in "Love, Life and Evisceration" by Porle Joen available through Amazon.

Weekly Breakdown

On Monday my Sanity packed its bags,
on Tuesday it cried on the floor.

On Wednesday my Logic picked it up
and walked it out the door.

On Thursday my Intelligence flipped me off,
on Friday it said, "Screw you".

On Saturday my Sanity came crawling back,
and Logic scampered in too.

On Sunday my intelligence returned to me
though it kicked my mind as it passed.

Now I am whole and my mind is new,
but Monday approaches fast.
