If I could meet any person in history, living or dead, who would it be and why? I choose to meet Jesus Christ and this article explains why. Then i back out...

Who Would I Meet?

The question was posed to me last night, 'If you could meet any person in history, living or dead, who would you meet and why?"
My immediate response to that question was that I would want to meet my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, not due to faith issues but just because I want to be in His presence. Then I asked myself what I would do if I knew I was going to meet the Son of God. What would I wear? Would I wear modest clothing knowing that He is a humble person? Or should I wear nice and fancy clothing like a suit since I am meeting with the King of Kings? How should I act? Should I fall to my knees and worship Him or should I act like a proud American and bend my knee to nobody since I know He did not want the Jews to know who He truly was just yet? How would I act? I really don't know. I know I would be extremely nervous around Him and probably quite a bit intimidated by him. He is the most powerful being in the universe! What's not to be intimidated by? Yet He would be asking me why I fear Him and I would probably give Him some lame excuse which would be true but not the real truth. He would know it too and catch me in it. You can't lie to Him!
Maybe I better choose another historic figure! I will do so not because I want to be able to lie to them but because meeting God would be too intimidating! Perhaps I will meet Charles Dickens since I am a fan of his writings! I would have Great Expectations of that meeting!
