Why Do They Have to Commit Suicide

This was based on my own experience regarding a patient who committed a suicide.

Last night, we had our first duty at the Emergency Room, 11pm to 7am.
Everything went fine..
Until morning came, at exactly 7am. A patient was brought to the E.R, unconscious, no pulse no breathing.
She had a mark of a rope around her neck, which signifies that she committed a suicide.
We tried to revive her, we did CPR, Medication, Intubation, Defibrillation, but sad to say, we were unable to get her back to life.

We did not expect something like that to happen, but, yeah right.. Expect the unexpected since we are at the Emergency Room.

I don't really know why other people have to commit suicide, may be they don't have faith, which made them more weak.
She maybe was depressed, and unable to cope with her problem.
I feel like an evil told her to do that thing.
we knew that She have been attempting to commit a suicide even before she hang herself because of the marks of a slash on her hands.

Maybe if her family and friends were able to confront her regarding her problem, may be that thing did not happen.
I can't get over about what she did.. (sigh)

WHile others are asking God to prolong their life, their are other people who just end their life thru suicide.
So sad, but that's reality.
This is what we call "life". It may be so hard to accept but we have to.

Very sad. It sounds like this woman was in need of support and a friend, and had none.

We all reach the end of the tether at times but don't jump the gun. There are moments when we feel nobody cares. We should all make a difference in some way to help each other in times of distress; that is basic humanity - siva

The hurt they leave behind for other people to deal with is sad, also. Sorry her escaping her pain hurt you and likely others, including her family. It's hard to know what goes on in others' minds sometimes.
