Why wont they ever listen?
There's something I need to say.

A Poem about a man who has no one to talk to and writes sorrowful Lyrics

Why Won't They Ever Listen?

Why wont they ever listen?
There's something I need to say.
They say they're tired and bored,
and that they've had a long day.

I can only take so much,
of keeping my tongue at bay,
some day it will get tired,
and wrinkled and old and grey.

If only there was a way,
of unleashing my feelings,
there is a chance I wont be,
wicked, mean and demeaning.

Oh If I could compose songs
that rhymed in every which way,
which sang out my heads reason,
and burst with color on the stage,

I would be a content man,
with happy songs and many smiles,
and travel the world in freedom,
and watch my chords cover miles.

So sorrowful I am then
to write these heavy verses,
sadly I am disturbed,
for all I can rhyme are curses.

I don't even know how to reply to this. This is beautiful and so very haunting. You've managed to end it perfectly too, in my opinion, which is something I am rather envious of! Nice Work

Beautiful.

Your words are temporarily forgotten skipping stones, found at the center of a dried pond, hidden, then returned after the filling rain.

nyc some day to visit mine i do pray
have a nice day
for our ma'am
'''The softness
the blueness of poetry
and scene
lends a reason to read
and a blue page in between
the grandeur that you exhibit
ma'am very few do,
how I’d wish
I could learn from you...

Keep writing, searching for the grander of the day, and reflections sling the way.
