Heat of the summer ... missing the storms of autumn ... this is a poem I wrote on a windy day last September.

Windy Fall Morning

Here in the heat of the summer, I find myself missing the storms of autumn. This is a poem I wrote on a windy day last September. I hope you enjoy the imagery.

Windy Fall Morning

Bold bluster.
Chilly mist
Rays of bliss
And one-half of a
Colorful promise.
I watch a train in the sky
Railroad cars roll and roar by.
No whispers today
But whistles and
Rumbles.
Leaves scurry, frightened from their
Summer homes.
Autumn alive!
