Winter can be found in souls that have been hurt.

Thinking about you reminds me of winter,
dark clouds are full of your pain,
that you do not want to share with me,
out of fear that if you do,
it will suffocate me,
and will make you look small,
so small in my eyes,

those eyes that you never dared to really look,
afraid that you would get drown,
in the depths of passion,
because of that you pretended,
that you don't even like swimming,
it is always safer to hate,
than to love,
or so you were tought.

rain is falling,
your tears showering me,
maybe you have regrets after all.
