Culture is what most of the Indian seek. Here's a situation witnessed by me, in which Indians were ready to do something extraordinary part of their Life.....

Witnessing Indian Culture

We love Culture. I do accept it. But, it shouldn't be the case like this situation.
It was early in the Morning, when I reached a small town near Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. On the way to a hotel, i just found a beggar begging. Considering my Sympathy towards people of such kind, I directed myself towards her. I picked a 100 rupee note from my pocket and dropped it into her income bowl.

"Mom!" exclaimed a young, sturdy, well dressed boy from the right end view of my eye.
I felt startled when I just found him rushing towards her and hugging her tightly and saying out "Mom!!". Well, it was a moment of shock to me, as I couldn't understand, how it was possible to see a boy very well dressed and his Mom with shattered Clothes.

Out of my Curiosity, I questioned her "What makes the difference in your Status?"
"Oh! Actually, this is my Job since my Son's birth. I've been working in this way not to earn money and get him educated, but to earn enough money to keep him well-dressed, so as to get a beautiful and a very rich girl to marry him. Finally, I proved to be successful as he now got married to the daughter of an MNC." replied she.

"If So, why are you still earning Money?" doubted I to her.

"Cause, I have another newly born daughter. She's just 7 years old. I've been earning Money to make it as the dowry to her marriage and keep her well-dressed always..." replied she.

I couldn't understand the craze of these People towards their Marriage Culture. I really felt Isolated at that moment from my own senses.

Couldn't digest it and cross-questioned her,
"Why don't you send her to School??"

"If So, how can I think of making the dowry in time?" replied she.

"That's crazy!!" exclaimed I to her.

But still, in 99% situations, I love Indian Culture for many reasons. The main problem with few cultural Indians is the mistake in their Perceptions. there should be truly someone to guide them...........

Thanks for sharing this article. This is so different from the way we live. I would like to see all girls go to school to get an education.
