This is a poem about Woodsman's son and his fiddle. He loves to play and he plays as much as he can.

Woody The Woodsman's Son

This is an innocent poem about compulsive behavior with a touch of humor. Sometimes we have a hobby or desire that we put before anything else in our lives and it can be very hard to manage it. My behavior was smoking, which thankfully I broke free from.

Woody the Woodsman’s son,
Woody rose in the morning,
Woody played at night,
He loved to fiddle,
Woody the Woodsman’s son,
Was prone to diddle,
Woody played so hard,
Woody played so fast,
He played in the moonlight,
Woody the Woodsman’s son,
Played with all his might,
Woody felt no shame,
Woody did not care,
But he was a good lad,
Woody the Woodsman’s son,
Was careful not to wake his Dad!
