Wounds, both physical and unseen, follow the soldier throughout the rest of their lives! These are very real wounds which are hard to heal, and quite hard to deal with!

WOUNDS

Some wear wounds visible,
Others not – incredible!

Scars not physical,
Buried deep – ‘motional,

PTSD is passed,
Into red blood to last,

Never seen but e’er felt,
Brings soldier to the melt,

Pain as real as a knife,
Follows e’er throughout life!
