Write What You Want, Not What You Know!

This style of writing is commonly referred to as "Writing Hot" several celebrated authors, past and present used this very method of writing also called "writing from the hip", and in a sense equating to a slick gunfighter firing his pistol from the hip. When the urge grabs you, reach for your pen and fire off that first salvo of words, totally undaunted...

write Hot!

If you've got the urge to write, you really should write what you want and not what you know, that is unless both aspects are identical in which case, you possibly already have a general topic in mind,.If not at the onset, then it may soon be the case. It may be about something you know already or perhaps not. Regardless of the situation, you will need to focus on what you’re excited about, I.E. WRITE HOT! that always takes priority.

Like A Branson, Aim For The Stars!

If it’s a topic you already know enough about, dive right in. If not, research about what you don’t know then go for it or even better, jump right in first! and learn as you go. May these few words fire up those powerful creative engines residing in the heart of every Wikinutter, and, like a "Branson" aim for the cosmos. The view from up there, will leave you breathless.

I agree with you Andre. Something that I read often prompts me to write about something that I know very little or even nothing about and resulting article is based solely upon research.

Hello my dear Carolina, I wish I could remain here permanently! However the sad truth is that I cannot at this point, spend as much time here as I would have wanted to, due to other writing commitments on another site that is willing to part with 50% of their revenue generated from my published articles I am dependent on that extra $250 per month (That is about a R3000.00) stipend writing short snippets of 400 characters a piece. To the owners of these respective article distributors, it's just semantics, both sites get revenue from the same source but one is willing to part with two pennies per every 2000 clicks while the other guy pays $25 per 2000 clicks, there is nothing hard about understanding that statement. So while the $25 paying guys lack the finesse and user friendly environment of wikinut.com, A simple Google search will reflect that the company in question receives an average of 7.2 million visits per month while Wiki have about 250,000 hits per month, it's no contest. Professional courtesy dictates that I do not divulge the names of the thousands of wikinut writers, already writing over there. This is not a cheap marketing ploy, since I'm not saying who the writers are, nor am I saying what the other company's name is. For what it's worth, had this once prestigious site, Wikinut, been mine, I would gladly shove over some of the not so hard earned loot to to try and keep the goose that lays the golden eggs. Like I said, simple semantics, love ya all! "I'll Be Back!" ASAP!
PS.Company B is upping the revenue even more, perhaps a 70/30 split mmm?

Wow. Good info -- and I bet I can guess or Google the other. You are right to write that $250 beats, well, the goose egg, especially when you need the revenue to keep the lights on. Meanwhile, I'm happy to read what you write when it's offered here (or there, or really anywhere)!

Thanks for this. Been writing hot for a very long time now and it seems to work the best for me. I have done articles about what I know best: photography, construction, meditation, travel, and much more, but doing a sketch as it comes feels best to me.

Hello Dean that's the spirit my friend, just dive right in at the exact moment the inspiration hits, grab your pen and notebook and just write, and write and write. Don't stop to check punctuation etc.you can do that later when you rework your material.

1st November 2016 (#) Hi , Thank you for being on my readers list. I have been searching for about 2 years for a write for cash site which works as easily as wikinut and pays like Bubblews did in their heyday! One of our wikinutters, passed this information on to me of a brand new cash writing site which is similar to Bubblews and it pays its writers for original work. I joined and find their pay system very rewarding.
If you could use a few extra dollars like I do, and would like more details please join here:

or here:

Kindest regards,

Andre' (Tranquilpen)
PS: Many wikinut and Bubblews writing community are already there!
